Handwriting: This week we are going to work on lowercase and uppercase Aa. Watch the video and pause it when you want to try to write a letter.
Reading: Work on reading and writing sight words below. I wonder how many words you can write in 5 minutes?
Shared books:
Today we have two shared books for you to enjoy.
Writing: Today you can pick one of the books to write about. What did you like about the story? What was interesting or funny? What was your favourite part?
Remember to draw a picture first to help you plan your story.
- capital letters
- finger spaces
- sound out tricky words
- full stops
- 2-3 ideas
- edit you story (read it and check it makes sense)
Drawing: In class we have been working on drawing farm animals. We are getting good at drawing cows and sheep. How about ...pigs!
