PMP

Today we had PMP (Perceptual Motor Programme) in the hall. There were four activities for us to complete.

Activity One:

We worked on balancing on the rock and balance boards.

We bounced the balls into the hoop and caught them lots of times.

Activity Two:

We had to crawl under the pole, jump in and out of the hoops.  Then we got to balance on the beam.

Activity Three:

We had to aim, throw and then catch the bean bag.

We got to aim and roll the ball at the target (ten pin bowling).

Activity Four:

We had to climb in and out of the hoops. At the end of the hoops we had to climb into the cube and get a bean bag and climb out again.

Kelly Sports: Session 5

Today at Kelly Sports we worked on throwing and catching.

Our warm up game was 'Pirate tag' where you had 2-3 taggers who each had a noodle and they had to tag you on the leg. If you got tagged you had to stop, balance and count to 3 then you were free again.

Then we played 'Animal bean bag' where we worked on throwing and catching. We know we have to have our hands like a basket, to look at the bean bag while we try and catch it and to bring it close to our chest when we catch it.

Next we played 'Snake Hunter' it was a fun game where you had to stand on the snake's tail (skipping rope) then you became the snake to be hunted.

At the end we played 'Four Corners' a game where you had to run to a corner and coach Tom counted down from 10 to 0.

Fantastic listening to coach Tom today! Well done ruma rima!
