Today Rimu  had a lunchtime swim.

Jelly Bean Music: Session 3

Today at 'Jelly Bean Music' we had so much fun.

Out teacher was Mr Kim.

At music we...

• listened to Mr Kim play the flute
• danced to the 'Banana Song'
• played the glockenspiel (notes 'c' and 'g')
• played different instruments (tambourines, castanets, drums, triangles)

Marvelous Maths

We love maths in Room 5. Maths sessions happen every morning and we have lots of different activities set up in the class to help us learn more about numbers.

Over the past few weeks we have been learning to...

• make groups to 10
• order numbers
• count forwards and backwards
• find numbers on a number line
• sort bears and blocks
• write numbers correctly
• add numbers together
• recognise patterns to 10

Rimu Assembly

Today we had our first Rimu team assembly.

Two children from Room 5 got a certificate and a book for being great role models and showing our school values over the past few weeks.

Today we had our second session of 'Jelly Bean Music'.

The teacher today was... Mrs White.
