Room 5 loves  PMP in the hall. A big thank you to the parents that came along to help out.

Room 5 enjoyed all of the activities!  The moon hopper and hula hoops were the most popular activities.

Science Week Fun

Science Week

We have enjoyed making predictions and observations as we did experiments.

I think the GLOOP experiment was super fun!

Baking Soda Experiments.  You can watch the video and try it at home with your family.

We had a fantastic time pouring in the vinegar and then watched what happened!

Here are a few photos of us mixing water and food colouring together. We made observations and predictions on what we thought would happen.

We enjoyed learning about magnets too.

One of the other experiments that we did was with milk, detergent and food colouring.

We saw the milk moving reacting to the detergent.

Kelly Sports Session

This week Room 5 had a 'Kelly Sports Session' in the hall.
We had a chance to learn some new games without equipment.

PMP

Room 5 has PMP in the hall on a Tuesday.

Here are a few photos from this week. We are getting better at following instructions and taking turns at the different activities.


We got to...

Crawl through the tunnel.

 Jump in the hoops

Do a pencil roll on the mat. It is tricky to try and keep your arms and legs straight as you roll.

We liked balancing on the beam!

Play-based Learning

We love to create and build with Lego!

We are learning to share and take turns when we build together.

Yusra and Alisha made a wonderful house.

Great team work boys!

Riley made a marvellous maze. The marble rolled through the maze perfectly.

Pepa has made a maze and the marble went through the maze easily.

Tanya made a fantastic castle out of big blocks. She could even sit in it!

The big wooden blocks were well used today.

 
I love the huts that have been created this week. Lots of team work went into this creation.

Loose Parts Play:

Loose parts play help children to think imaginatively and see solutions. Some amazing creations today.
