Calendar Maths
Just like we do in class, we can do at home. I am going to give you a number and you have to answer the questions.

Todays number is 11

Questions:
-What comes before 11?
-What comes after 11?
-Can you spell the number 11?
-Can you write down 11 tally marks?
-What equations can you make that equal 11 (6+5=11)?

Writing:
Here is a picture from earlier in the term. Today I want you to write down what you Notice and what you Wonder.

My example:

I notice a group of children floating in the water and they all have life jackets on.   I wonder if the water is cold?

Remember to use:
-capital letters
-finger spaces
-sounding out words
-full stops.

Reading:
Please watch the following video of the top 100 'sight words'

Phonics:
Listen to the song and sing along to the 'ot' word family.

Activity: Can you write 'ot' words. I wonder how many you can write down?

Shared books:  Here are two shared books for you to listen to today. I wonder which book you will be your favourite?

Activity: You can draw a picture of the book you liked the most? Maybe you could write a story about the book.

Handwriting: This weeks letters are Jj   and  Ff

Remember you don't have to do everything on this blog post.  Most importantly try and make it fun and work for your family.
