Writing
Today for writing we are going to do what we do in class every Monday
 'Weekend Writing'

Here are some ideas you could write about:

  • what have you been doing in your bubble
  • what activities have you done with your family
  • how you have helped your family
  • any new games you have learnt
Remember to use:

-a capital letter
-full stop
-finger spaces
-listen to our sounds

Here are our sight words. Try and practise them everyday. Your goal is to say it before the teacher does. Good luck!

Handwriting
Today our focus letter is 'r'
Remember to start at the top and go down, then back up and over.

Here is a video to help
Extra Challenge:
Write as many words as you can that begin with 'Rr'?
e.g. rainbow, rabbit, red, run, rat, rot...

Kiwi: below is a video clip of kiwi being released back into the wild. Watch the video and then write down some facts about kiwi.

I wonder how many facts you can remember from the video. Remember watch the video a few times to help you.

Can you tell someone in your family a fact from the video about the kiwi?

Art Activity: Draw a kiwi. Here is a video of a kiwi to help you. Give it a go!

Shared Book:  Here is a funny book about a kiwi for you to watch. The author Jason Tharp reads the story out loud.
