I am going to give you a number and you have to answer the questions.
Todays number is 34
Questions:
-What comes before 34?
-What comes after 34?
-Can you spell the number 34?
-Can you write down 34 tally marks?
-What equations can you make that equal 34 (30+4=___ )
Maths: Counting forwards and backwards in 10's.
Activity:
Now try and write the numbers in 10's forwards and then backwards.
Forwards in 10's:
10 20 30 40 50 60 70 80 90 100
Backwards in 10's:
100 90 80 70 60 50 40 30 20 10

Have a go at these basic facts. Remember you can use your fingers, pegs or toys to help you add the numbers together. This number line will help you as well.

Shared book:
This is a search and find story about a little pink snake called 'Where Are You'
Writing Activity:
Today I want you to write about your favourite part of the story. I liked finding all the different places the snake was hiding. I hope you liked the story too.
My example:
Where was the snake?
The little pink snake liked hiding in lots of places.
He slithered through the long green grass.
I liked the part when the little pink snake was hiding around the bicycle wheel.
He went round and round the wheel.
Remember to use:
-capital letter
-full stop
-finger spaces-sound out words
Craft Activities:
Have a go at drawing a worm.
