Shared book:
Today we have a book about  dinosaurs!

Writing
Can you describe one of the dinosaurs from the story or explain what happens in the story. Maybe you could use some of the rhyming words from the story.  e.g. munch/crunch

My example:
The dinosaurs went marching along.
They went stomp, stomp, stomp!
They stopped and ate lunch.
Munch, munch, munch!
Then they took a rest in the nest.
I liked the part when they roared altogether.

Remember to use:
-capital letter
-full stop
-finger spaces
-sound out words
-use the word because
Art Activity:
Now it is time to draw a dinosaur. Give it a try!
Handwriting: Alphabet workout.

Remember you don't have to do everything on this blog post.  Most importantly try and make it fun and work for your family.
If you would like to share your work please email me some photos to (nmitchell@owairaka.school.nz) and I will share it on our class blog.

Happy home learning Room 5!
