Today we meet our buddy class Room 22. We had a great time working together on a few science experiments. Here are some pictures from our science session. Mrs Johns came along to do the experiments with us too.
We had big frozen cubes of ice and we added salt and then some food colouring. We made a prediction and then observed what happened! It was great to work with a big buddy.
We were learning to think like a scientist. We made predictions of what we thought would happen and then we observed what did happen. There were some great discussions between buddies as we watched what happened to the ice.
Then we moved on to our next experiment-Floating and Sinking. We had to predict if an object would float or sink. Then we observed
what happened. A few objects surprised us as we observed the
experiment.
There was a great buzz of learning this afternoon. Ka pai Room 5 and Room 22.
