Room 5 Exploring

We had a wonderful first day at school.  It was very exciting to have so many children ready for learning with healthy lunches, water bottles, hats and book bags.

We went to the school car park to look at some special old cars.

Here are a few photos of us when we were looking at all the old cars.

Some of us got to climb into the cars and have a look at the inside of the cars. The seats were very different to modern cars.

We all climbed into the green van called Bradford. It was very exciting to sit in the back of the van.

Room 5 liked looking at all of the old cars.

Reading

Room 5 are fantastic readers.  We love reading everyday! Here are a few photos of us during our reading rotation.

We had a wonderful time at Rimu Athletics.

We had some very fast runners in Room 5. Well done to everyone who ran in the semi-finals and finals.  We were very proud of our 3rd place 6 year old boy!
