Many children from Room 5 performed at the Cultural Festival held at Rocket park.
I was very proud of all the children who performed. It was great to see so many families out supporting their children.
Here are a few photos from the day.
We are a year 1 class at Owairaka Primary School from Auckland, New Zealand. This blog is a place where we can share our learning.

Play-based Learning
This term we have had Play-based learning in our morning sessions. In Room 5 the children have been , playing with kinetic sand and creating
the most spectacular creations, drawing or putting together boxes and rolls to make wonderful things.
They are engaging with each other, negotiating, sorting out disagreements and establishing better friendships. They are imagining, exploring and inventing
