We have read lots of books, watched videos and created art around Halloween. It is fun to learn about this celebration and we know that only some people celebrate Halloween.
We talked about what we think Halloween is...
We know facts about Halloween:
- It is a special celebration
- It happens every year on the 31st of October
- Children dress up in scary costumes
- Some children do trick or treating
- It is a fun celebration
- Pumpkins are carved (Jack-o-lanterns)
We know that you can dress up for Halloween as a witch, wizard, zombie, monster or a skeleton.
To celebrate we made Halloween popcorn cones and got to eat yummy popcorn.
