Here is a list that you can look at to help you learn the colours:

• Red in Māori = Whero.
• Blue in Māori = Kikorangi.
• Green in Māori = Kakariki.
• Yellow in Māori = Kowhai.
• Purple in Māori = Waiporoporo.
• Orange in Māori = Karaka.
• Brown in Māori = Parauri.
• Grey in Māori = Kiwikiwi.
