We are working on learning blends like cl, fl,  gl  to help us with reading and writing.
As part of our 'gl' learning we made 'Glitter Glasses'.

Over the past few weeks we have given out certificates to some great learners in Room 5.

Owairaka Mountain Trip

We had a fantastic big walk up 'Owairaka Mountain'. We had a long walk up to the mountain but when we got to the top we had a great view.

Room 5 saw ...

• Owairaka park
• Chelsea Sugar factory in the distance

It was a fun day out! A big thank you to our parents who came along to help us!

When we got to the top it was a great achievement!

We got to walk under the trees and had to watch where we were walking.

Then it was time for a snack after our big walk up the mountain.

We also had time to have a run around on the soccer field.

Then we walked back to school.

PMP

This week we had PMP in the hall. There were lots of fantastic activities set up for us to use.
