Today is the last day of term one. We had reading buddy time and we read our stories to our friend. Here are a few photos of Room 5 reading.

We had reading buddies today. We are getting really good at listening to our buddy read.
We have been learning to move in different ways. We can hop, jump, leap, jump, roll and crawl. Today we went to the hall and played a new game called 'Frogs and Fishes'.
We were frogs and we had to collect fish (bean bags). You had to step on lily pads (hoops) or stones (foam discs) to get to the fish. Here are some photos of us playing the new game.

Room 5 has really enjoyed learning about whales over the past few weeks! We had so much fun learning how to draw and paint whales. We watched videos and looked at pictures of whales to learn how to draw them.
