Whole School Assembly

Today we had a fantastic assembly. 

Room 5 came 1st equal in the 'Holiday Reading Log' challenge.
I am super proud of all of you!

School values tickets were drawn.

Certificates were given out too.

PMP

We had PMP fun in the hall today.

Room 5 really enjoyed the beam activity.

Orchestra (Clarence High School Band)

This week we were lucky to attend a performance by a live orchestra (Clarence High School Band-Tasmania). We really enjoyed listening to the music and watching the dancing.

Room 5 loved all the different instruments like...

Calendar Art

Room 5 have created some wonderful pictures for 'Calendar Art'.

Families can buy calendars, cards and notebooks with our art on it. They will make great gifts for family and friends. A 'Calendar Art' notice will be coming home soon to explain the cost and the process for ordering them.

Room 5 were inspired by reading some Maori legends- Te Ra (the Sun).
We used warm colours for the sun and cool colours for the ocean.
