Buddy Reading with Room 4

Today we had fun reading our books to a buddy from Room 4 and then we got to colour our poems. It was a fun morning.

Duffy Assembly

Today we had a special 'Duffy Assembly'.  We had a visitor come to school to talk to us about reading and how important it is in her job. Her name was  SGT Debbie Aitken. 
She is a pilot and loves to fly.

Library Time

Today we went to the library to pick books to read for our class.  We love going to the library!

2019 Art Exhibition

Today we had the special opening ceremony for our 'Art Exhibition'.  It was wonderful that so many parents could come along to the opening.

We listened to speeches and talking about how old our school is-90 years old!
We even had a cake cutting ceremony with the oldest and youngest children helping to cut the cake.

Room 5 got to look at the wonderful art later in the day.

We also found our rockets! It was very exciting to see our art in the art show.
