Green Week

This week it has been Green Week!

There was book swap days outside Room 9. We also had the Travelwise Extravaganza!

We have been learning about New Zealand birds and have:

• read books about birds
• read a poem about birds
• written about birds

We had a special visitor who came to talk to us about birds: Ms Best. Here are a few photos from the talk.

We had 'Make and Take' with lovely muffins, popcorn and sandwiches.

We had wrapper free lunch boxes as well.

What a wonderful week of learning.

100 Days at School

On Friday we celebrated 100 days of learning.  We had such a fun day.

We did...

• counting to 100
• sang songs to 100
• made 100 out of bears, blocks, dominoes, sticks
• Counted to 100 in groups of 2's, 5's and 10's

We talked about 100 things that we liked...

We also talked about 100 things we did not want!

We got to make 100 day party hats as well.

We liked working with Room 4! We even made  100 by sitting together.

We had a few small treats to celebrate our 100 days at school as well.

It was tricky to count the sprinkles on the fairy bread.
