Goodbye Ms Nevin

Room 5 have had a fabulous 5 weeks with Ms Nevin.

We have loved Ms Nevin ...

• encouraging us to problem solve 
• helping us with our basic facts
• reading stories to us
• helping us to read our books
• writing with us
• singing songs together
• helping us to learn our dance

and many more wonderful times together.

We wish Ms Nevin all the best with her studies at university and with her next class.

Another wonderful 'Honey Show' today.

Room 5 loved all the singing and dancing.

Honey Show

Today we had our first performance of our 'Honey Show' for parents and families.

We have enjoyed learning all of the songs for the show.

Room 5 are flowers and looked great up on the stage doing the 'Meadow in the Morning' song.

Matariki Assembly

We had a fantastic Matariki assembly. 

We watched a play about Matariki.

We listened to some Matariki songs.

We saw all of the classes amazing korowai.

We saw the beautiful Matariki feather sculptures.

We saw children getting prizes for our school values.

Matariki Breakfast

Today we had a special Matariki breakfast with our buddy class Room 6.

We said a karakia before we had kai. Whaea Tori joined us and said the kararkia for us.




Then we paired up with our buddy and got our breakfast. We loved the warm milo and yummy toast.
