Maths

We love maths in Room 5. We like doing the different activities set up at the tables like:

• maths games
• basic facts
• counting fun
• construction 
• teacher table
• i-pads

Green Week

This week is Green Week.  We have been learning about lots of interesting facts about bees.



Monday and Tuesday:
We have book swap days on at school. This is where you can bring a book that you would like to swap to encourage us to recycle and reuse.



Wednesday:
We have Healthy Wrapper Free Lunchbox Day on Wednesday.  It would be great if we could all have a wrapper free lunch box. If your lunchbox is wrapper free you go into the draw to win a prize.




Thursday:
We have Make and Take Morning. This is outside Room 9 from 8:00am:

• Sandwiches are $2:00 
• Popcorn and muffins are .50c

Also, remember to bring your lunchbox to put your food in.

Friday:
We have Green or Yellow/Black Day  and walk to school day. This is where you can dress up in green or yellow/black (like a bee) or a combination of both! You can also walk, bike or scooter to school to get your name in the prize draw.  We also have a Green Day Assembly at 9:15.

A special visit from Mrs Fletcher

Today we had a special visit from Mrs Fletcher! Another Room 5 person has turned 6.

Welcome to Ms Nevin

Today we welcome Ms Nevin to Room 5.
She will be another teacher in our class helping us to learn and will be with us for 5 weeks. 
We are very excited to have her in our class.

PMP Fun

We had a great time at PMP.  We love going to the hall to do jumping, throwing, balancing, crawling and rolling fun with wonderful activities set up by our fantastic parent helpers.
