Discovery Time Fun

Room 5 children love Discovery Time!  We have Discovery Time on a Friday.  This is an opportunity for children to explore and play. Room 5 look forward to Friday when we get to play and have fun at Discovery Time.

At Discovery Time we get to do lots of fun and exciting activities like:

• Dress-ups
• Tea parties
• Toys
• Blocks and building
• Painting
• Drawing
• I-pads
• Trains and cars

 Today we had fun playing with dolls and toys.  

The tea party table is very popular! 

The toys and trains are very fun and we get to share and take turns with the toys.

Today we had the i-pads out! I think they had lots of fun playing games on the i-pads.

What a fantastic train track.

Today at the drawing table we had some beautiful pictures to colour!  Such good colouring in too.

Room 5's Last Softball Session

We got to play a game of softball for our last softball session.We used special softball gloves to catch the ball!  It was so much fun!  Room 5 loves SOFTBALL!

We have been working on getting fit!

The Rimu team have been running most days to prepare for our special Cross Country Run.

The Cross Country Run for the Juniors is on:

Friday 12th August at 9:30 am

On Wednesday we had Softball with two fantastic coaches (Sam and Phoebe).

We are learning lots about throwing and catching.
