Room 5 Planter Box
It is Green Week at school. Today Room 5 put soil into our new planter box! We all had a turn at digging the soil out of the bag and putting it into the planter box. Then we watered the soil so it would be ready for us to put the seeds and plants into the box. Next we dug little holes to put in the blue pansies, sugar snap peas and carrots. Finally we watered all the plants. We are looking forward to watching our plants and seeds grow.

Race Relations Day
We had lots of different activities on at school to celebrate our diversity. First we had a special assembly with a parade of all the classes. Then we had fun making origami airplanes and we got to fly them outside. Next we did weaving with our buddy class. We also had a shared lunch and got to try food from different cultures. Room 5 had a fantastic day!
